New Troupe Directors

All New Troupe Directors are invited to join New Troupe Director Mentor Valerie Longshore-Sargent for a pre-LeadCon Zoom meeting the week prior to LeadCon. Be on the lookout for meeting details.

STO Candidates and Student Reps

At LeadCon 1, STO candidates declare their candidacy and need to be prepared to answer questions from the current STO. Candidates are encouraged to bring two Student Representatives from their troupe with them to both LeadCons as these are the students that will be casting the troupe’s vote for STOs.

At LeadCon 2, the same Student Reps and the STO Candidates will participate in the STO election process.

For more information, visit the STO page.

The first rehearsal for opening production will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Auditions will be held virtually BEFORE LeadCon 1.

Advanced Ticketing Incentive

Troupe directors who attend both LeadCons are eligible to select conference show tickets a day early! In order to be eligible for this incentive, you must attend LeadCon 1 in-person and must attend LeadCon 2 either in-person or virtually (if applicable). Attendance will be taken at the start AND end each meeting. The Troupe Director on record with EdTA MUST be the representative in attendance. No exceptions will be made if the Troupe Director cannot attend.
